10,000 NFTs created
Pray4Ukraine is a new charity in Ukraine that has brought together thousands of digital artists from the country who have created over 10,000 NFT art pieces. The artists are collaborating with Pray4Ukraine to raise funds for humanitarian aid and support of the country’s armed force.
Pray4Ukraine also announced that the sale has been launched for its NFT collection, which contains 9,930 artworks. The statement states that the proceeds from the sale will directly go to Come back Alive, another charity foundation that has been at the “humanitarian frontline” since May 2014. It also mentions that financial reports will be made available daily via Pray4Ukraine’s public channels.
Art can save lives
The Pray4Ukraine team stated that it will raise funds to help Ukrainians who have been devastated by war. It also said that they will use NFTs and digital art to achieve the larger goal of the Pray4Ukraine organization, which is to end hostilities between Russia and Ukraine. This statement explained:
Pray4Ukraine’s mission aims to demonstrate that anyone can help end this war and save many lives in Ukraine. The crypto community has an alternative way to join a global solidarity movement through digital art and NFT.
According to the statement Olga from Kyiv was one of those who signed up for the cause. She refused to leave Kyiv where she “continues her channeling her understanding of the events enveloping through digital art.” Kamila said that while it has been difficult to find inspiration, her willingness to help in any way possible has allowed her to overcome the difficulties she faced after Russia invaded Ukraine.
