In a series of tweets, Elon Musk made a remark against Jackson Palmer, founder of Dogecoin. This was mainly due to the help Palmer gave him four year ago.
Musk complained about Twitter bots pushing cryptocurrency scams through his tweets in 2018. Palmer offered to help him by sharing a small piece of code. Palmer stated at the time that Elon had the script… we had an interesting chat about how @jack and Twitter should automate and solve this problem.
It’s a timely issue for Musk who is currently in the process to buy Twitter. He would be able to make changes and try to fix these issues. The deal is currently being delayed due to concerns that there might be more fake accounts than what the social media site claims.
Musk claims that Palmer’s code was useless. “You falsely claimed that ur lame Python snippet gets rid of bots,” stated Musk via Twitter. “My children wrote better code than the nonsense script Jackson sent to me when they were twelve.”
Musk’s comments were in response to a tweet regarding an interview between Palmer and Crikey News, an Australian news outlet. As of press time, Palmer has not responded to any comments.
