Spencer Tucker, a mobile gaming executive, will be responsible for Yuga Labs’ Otherside. Yuga Labs, which is behind the Bored Ape Yacht Club FFT collection, has appointed Spencer Tucker its first Chief Gaming Officer.
Tucker will be responsible for Yuga’s HTML3 gaming projects. He started with Yuga’s Otherside metaverse. Otherside was a major player in Ethereum’s early days. It saw an unprecedented surge in transactions and $561,000,000 worth land2_ sales within 24hrs.

Tucker is a veteran of mobile gaming companies Scopely, GREE and as Senior Vice President of Product.
Tucker stated that he was “super stoked to be joining Yuga”, which also owns the cryptoPunks as well as Meebits FFTs.
Tucker wrote, “I believe that the future of gaming is powered by player ownership and social collaboration,”
Yuga CEO Nicole Muniz stated that gaming is one the company’s top priorities and will continue to be a main focus in the future. This is notable because the NFT company owns the four top Ethereum NFT collections, according to OpenSea data.
Yuga has a small team despite its $450 million seed round. This brought the company to an astonishing $4Billion valuation. This year, the firm has employed approximately 60 people and plans to increase that number to 100 by 2022.
