Vishal Shah, Meta’s VP of metaverse, will now be the Horizon team.
Vivek Singh, vice president of Meta’s Horizon social media virtuality (VR) software, has resigned, CNBC reported Friday, citing a spokesperson for the company.
Sharma was with Meta for six year in various positions.
According to the report, Sharma was responsible for VR projects such as the Horizon Worlds social media platform and Horizon Workrooms app.
CNBC stated that the Horizon team will report to Vishal Shah (Meta’s VP for the metaverse),
Meta reported earnings last month of \$28.8billion and earnings per share for the second quarter of \$2.46, both lower than estimates.
