Rarible, a NFT marketplace, tapped the Ethereum L2 scale protocol Immutable X for users to purchase and sell NFTs from Gods Unchained or Guild of Guardians. Illuvium and other popular blockchain-based games based on Immutable X.

Rarible will now have blockchain based games on its NFT Platform
Rarible’s integration of Immutable X means that assets from the most well-known protocols for blockchain-based gaming, as well assets from some the most long-running blockchain-based games such as Gods Unchained, are now available on the NFT platform.
Gods Unchained was not as popular as other blockchain-based games such Asie Infinity and Sorare, but the game’s competitive card game had a peak trading volume in January at $6.32million, according to The Block’s data dashboard.
Immutable X was created by blockchain gaming company Immutable to allow NFTs for sale quickly and with a minimal transaction fee.
Immutable X focuses on blockchain-based gaming assets. GameStop, a video game distributor, chose to use the protocol as its NFT marketplace.
Rarible now has a stronger competitor than Fractal launched by Justin Kan, Twitch cofounder, and other gaming-focused NFT markets.
