Eminem and Snoop Dogg, rap giants, will perform “From the D 2 The LBC” from their metaverse-styled song at MTV’s VMAs.
Global rap icons Eminem, Snoop Dogg and other stars will transform the VMAs stage to perform a unique performance of “From the D 2 the LBC” in the Otherside metaverse. Yuga Labs is partnering with them. “This is the first ever metaverse-inspired performance to grace an award show,” Eminem’s press office stated in a statement.
The song’s music video, which featured performances by Bored Apes and , was released in June. This year’s Best Hip Hop Award went to the collaboration. It took place on August 28.
Snoop Dogg, Eminem and “From the D2 the LBC” were the first to debut the single live at ApeFest on Friday. This annual gathering is for Mutant Ape Yacht Club members. The private festival was held in New York last weekend alongside NYC. The festival featured performances from Future and LCD Soundsystem, as well Lil Wayne, Haim and Future.
